Often students are not automatically drawn to mathematics, yet with encouragement many have the disposition to be engaged in science, math, engineering, and technology. This poster will outline ways to hook students who might not otherwise consider engaging in math specifically or in STEM disciplines in general. Stop by as we talk about various ways we can conquer the fears students have when engaging in STEM activities and the pitfalls into which many well intentioned STEM Teachers fall.
